News From Your Local President...
The results of the election of officers is in!!! Here is a list of your new officers and what they do...
Pat McGonagle, our President & Chief Steward, can be reached via email at afscmepat@yahoo.com. Pat attends PDCs, files grievances, and is the main go-to person for anything that may be in violation of the contract. Pat also handles any general questions about the union local.Samantha Brown is our Vice President & Webmaster for the local. She handles questions regarding grievances and the union local, and is also involved with internal organizing for our local. You can contact her at stbrown03@gmail.com.
Elaine Durham retains her position as recording secretary for the local. She can be contacted at kaileynstorm@comcast.net.
Tenley Luzier is the new Treasurer for the local and handles all of the financial issues. Reach her at tencraig@yahoo.com.

If you wish to particate in any of the Union events you must attend the local meetings and be elected or selected as a delegate. The new calendar of events for 2009 is posted on the upcoming events page.
If elected or selected the local will cover the cost for you to attend these functions.
As a reminder to all members of this local, we would like to remind you that this is your union. Our membership and participation in the monthly meetings has been steadily increasing; however, we would like to see more of our members at our meetings. IT'S YOUR LOCAL - HELP IT GROW!!
We would like to ask for input for bulletin boards that will be placed at as many locations as possible for members of our union local. If there is any type of information that you would like to see on the boards that is not there already, or if you would like to help with the assembly of the boards, email our vice president.
